I play my best golf in my head in between rounds.

Seriously... As I sit here four days before I tee it up for the first time in two months when I was playing the worst golf of the season, I feel like I got it all worked out in my head. I actually think that the time away has allowed me to focus on what I have to do. Rotate body with head stable and club in plane, and swing forward through the ball.

Of course the reality is that I will get up on the first tee and whiff...

Abaco Trip Prep: Extra attention to my balls tonight....

I think I am set for the practice round...

Proof you can throw up on your shoes and take home the hardware

2nd Annual Abaco Club Member Guest 3...
About 5 years ago, 3 years after I started playing...
I used driver on every par 3!

Off to Abaco next week to play in an 8x8 team event.

Should make for some great "throw up on yer shoes" stories.

1. I haven't played in months.

2.I am playing against all low handicap players.

3. My index of 15.7 is about two strokes lower than I was playing when the season ended.

3. KEEP YOUR HEAD DOWN!

4. AVOID A QUICK BACK SWING.

5. STAY OUT OF THE WATER..

6. TRY NOT TO HIT ANYONE.

7. IF YOU ARE TAKING TOO LONG, LET OTHERS GO AHEAD OF YOU.

8. DON'T STAND DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF OTHERS..

9. QUIET PLEASE...WHILE OTHERS ARE PREPARING.

10. DON'T TAKE EXTRA STROKES.

WELL DONE... NOW, FLUSH THE URINAL, WASH YOUR HANDS, GO OUTSIDE, AND TEE OFF.
